To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake, KGO-TV in San Francisco worked with CEA to produce a half hour special called “15 Seconds/25 Years Later: The Loma Prieta Earthquake.” It was hosted by news anchor Cheryl Jennings, who worked at KGO-TV in 1989 and reported on the aftermath of the Loma Prieta earthquake. The special aired several times in the weeks before and after the anniversary.
