CEA continues to educate Californians about earthquake safety and CEA's affordable earthquake insurance options by offering presentations at events across the state.
As of the end of June, CEO Glenn Pomeroy has appeared as a guest speaker at 38 community events including Rotary clubs, chambers of commerce and Realtor associations.
In May, Pomeroy spoke at the Newport Beach Sunrise Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of San Bernardino and the Castaic Lions Club.
Bill Robbins, Program Coordinator for the Newport Beach Sunrise Rotary Club, said, "Glenn gave a wonderful presentation! All that were there rushed home to calculate their own earthquake insurance costs."
Castaic Lions Club Secretary Keith Schmidt said, "Glenn did a fantastic job presenting."
Also in May, CEA Chief Communications Officer Chris Nance spoke at the Women's Council of Realtors®, Palm Springs Desert Cities, and the Rotary Club of Orange.
This month, Pomeroy gave a presentation to the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce, the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and the Arcadia Association of Realtors. He was a guest speaker at The Delfino, Inc. Homeowners Association and addressed the Bay East Association of REALTORS®.
Arcadia Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Matt Miyasaki said in a post event wrap-up, "Glenn's presentation was terrific and extremely informative. We didn't realize the number of programs the CEA has, and our group thought the presentation was very thought provoking. A lot of people, including our Chief of Police, had great questions."
