EBB has expanded its program, which offers California home-owners up to $3,000 to help cover costs to seismically retrofit their house and lessen the potential for earthquake damage.
In January ZIP Codes in six cities – Oakland, San Francisco, San Leandro, Los Angeles, Pasadena and Santa Monica – were the first eligible for the program. ZIP Codes in Napa were added in March. Homeowners were drawn through a random selection process and notified by email if they have been chosen to participate.
