Executive Management & Employees
| The CEA is authorized to contract for the services of a chief executive officer, a chief financial officer, and an operations manager. These contracted employees report directly to the CEA's Governing Board. The total number of employees subject to California civil service rules may not exceed 25. The CEA's annual operating expenses are limited to not more than 3% of the annual premium income received by the CEA. |
| CEA earthquake insurance policies are sold only through CEA participating insurance companies. You can buy CEA coverage only through the insurance company that provides your residential property insurance and only if that company is a CEA participating insurance company. Participating insurance companies process all CEA policy applications, policy renewals, invoices, and payments and handle all CEA claims. |
