The CEA is governed by a Governing Board that consists of California's Governor, State Treasurer, and Insurance Commissioner. The Speaker of the California Assembly and the Chairperson of the California Senate Rules Committee serve as nonvoting Board members. All members of the Board, voting and nonvoting, may name designees to serve in their place.
